Questions about TeachCurrent

What can I upload?

Lesson transcripts as SRT, VTT or plain text. SRT and VTT keep the timestamps you supplied; TXT is untimed, so findings reference passages instead of moments. TeachCurrent does not transcribe audio or video, and does not read slides or screenshots.

Which topics are supported?

Shopify theme architecture — architecture, layouts, templates and sections. Other Shopify areas such as checkout, apps and admin workflows are not covered, and no other platform is supported yet.

Does no finding mean my course is current?

No. An empty result means nothing was identified inside the supported coverage. It is not a certification, and it says nothing about lessons or topics outside coverage.

What is the difference between a finding and a change?

An initial comparison shows where your lesson differs from documentation as it reads today, including differences that are years old. An observed source change is a separate, dated event. Either way, a changed documentation page is not proof that software behaviour changed.

Will you edit my published course?

No. Suggested wording stays a draft for your review. There is no publishing, no LMS synchronisation and no automatic video editing. You make the edits in your own platform.

Can anyone run checks?

Not yet. Real analysis runs under private development access while coverage is proven. Scheduled monitoring is built but currently switched off, and there are no email notifications today.

What does it cost?

Nothing is on sale yet. A limited free level is intended and paid access is planned, but no prices or allowances have been set. See plans and availability for the current position.
